As you already know, the Vostok-Europe watches were successfully tested during two Expedition Trophy races in 2005 and 2006 years. Moreover, every driver of a new Expedition Around The World race was wearing the Expedition Trophy-2006 models during its first stage while crossing Northern America in May-June of this year. We are glad to inform you that the Vostok-Europe Company has prepared a new Vostok-Europe model named Expedition Around The World for all the further stages of this unique race.

The 43 mm size and 10 ATM water-resistant case of this watch has original see-through back cover designed in form of a wheel disc; all the three versions of the dial have new 24-hour scale system. The wide 22 mm bicolor leather strap is extended for 1,5 cm in comparison to its standard length of the straps.We hope that people around the world will like new Vostok-Europe Expedition Around The World watches and would wear them in different conditions and climatic zones of all the five continents.

Nothing is forever in this world, and it seems that Russian military is not happy with old Vostok Komandirskie anymore. Though the legend of Soviet watch industry, Vostok Komandirskie still remains most selling Russian watch in Russia itself, it’s obviously that our troops (and watchmakers too) need some more modern watches.

Summer of 2006 brought us a new collection of Vostok Amphibia and we have all chances that 2007 will bring us an upgraded Vostok Komandirskie.

It will be build on 2434 movement (as in Vostok Europe Icebreakers), with day-night indicator, and at least new Komandirskie will appears in a stainless steel case. We've got no photo yet, but new Komandirskie are looking very promising, and we expect that a retail price of this new collection will be comparable with new Vostok Amphibia prices.

Field tests of new collection should be completed in May, so we hope that a coming summer (or at least autumn) will bring us new "Komandirskie".

And  the question of the moment is: order new Scuba now or wait for new Komandirskie?
